There are all kinds of opportunities to be creative at Ouseburn Festival. An unusual one is offered at the Toffee Factory on Sunday 5th July 2015.

Artist Chris Folwell will be running 30 Minute workshops (12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm), showing you how to assemble your very own zoetrope to take home with you.

There’ll also be hot drinks and sweet treats from Heaton Perk cafe, fun craft activities and wacky and brilliant, yet rarely screened, versions of Alice in Wonderland.

Update to Rubber Duck Race time on Sunday

If you’ve taken away your Cluny Rubber Duck Race duck to decorate it, you need to have it back at The Cluny by 2.30pm on Sunday 6th July 2014.

For all spectators, the Rubber Duck Race is due to start at 3pm. It should be a quick race – so make sure you’re ready for the start of it or you might miss it! It starts at Crawford’s Bridge and finishes at the wooden bridge.
